hand-drawn Illustrations with heart

I create book covers and illustrations that connect readers to stories. Every project translates complex ideas, emotions, and narratives into a single, meaningful image.

Who I Work With

  • Publishers and commissioning editors

  • Authors and writers

  • Literary organisations, festivals, and book-loving brands

Why Work With Me

  • Story-driven, emotionally resonant illustrations

  • Custom, hand-drawn concepts with layered textures and symbolism

  • Artwork rooted in lived experience, bringing authenticity to every project

How I Work
I start by reading and listening to the story. Then I craft illustrations that reflect the heart of the narrative — using my perspective as a British Muslim, parent, and dentist to find genuine points of connection. Every image is made with care because stories deserve to be felt.

let’s talk about your book

Whether you're a publisher, art director, author or book-loving brand, l'd love to hear about your project.

I work collaboratively and thoughtfully, taking time to listen and understand the heart of a story before translating it into imagery.

If you have a book, idea or commission in mind, or you're not quite sure where to start - get in touch and let's explore it together.

You can use the form to tell me a little about your project — there’s no pressure to have everything fully formed. I’m always happy to explore ideas, answer questions and talk things through.
