Designing book cover for Wordsworth’s poems
This is a self-initiated book cover project, for a book of poetry by William Wordsworth. For this project, I hand drew the front cover, featuring delicate black and white flowers, and whimsical florals that brought a touch of nature’s elegance to the design. Flowers can symbolize a range of emotions, mirroring the sentiments found in poetry. In addition to the floral design, I also hand drew the title, infusing it with a personal touch that adds character and charm to the cover. Each letter reflects my artistic style, making the title not just a name but a part of the artwork itself. To further enhance this project, I illustrated a poem within the book, bringing its words to life through my drawings. I aimed to create a visual narrative that complements the poem’s themes and emotions, making it an immersive experience for the reader. This project has been a wonderful exploration of creativity.
